If you have never sailed before, this is your opportunity to learn. Before departing, we offer a short briefing on
the basics of sailing. The rest of the day can be as interactive as you choose it to be.
Adventure seekers will welcome the opportunity to swim.  If you choose and weather permits, we will stop at a
beautiful beach where you can enjoy swimming and sunbathing in the protected waters of a secluded cove.
For the less energetic, this is a day to just lie back on one of our many cushioned mattresses. There is simply
not a better way to take in the sun, sip an ice-cold beverage, and enjoy the sounds of the sea punctuated by
the song of the wind and the billowing sails.

Captain Joy offers private or group lessons tailored to your specific needs.  If you want more than the small day
sailing boats which most sailing organizations offer, give Joyride Charters a call.  Sailing lessons on a larger
vessel is sure to build confidence and awareness to what it takes to not only sail but perhaps one day own a
vessel of your own – power or sail.
New Boat Owner
If you are a new boat owner and want to up your comfort level on docking, maneuvering, learning to use your
electronics such as GPS, Captain Joy will come to you on your boat in your specific situation.  Build that muscle
of comfort on your own boat.  You won’t be disappointed!
First Mate
Do you often sail with your better half who has absolutely no knowledge of what to do if you fell overboard?  
Does your spouse feel you’re not patient enough to teach her without yelling (even a little)?   Joy can give
private lessons to your spouse and or with you.  Sometimes it’s easier to listen to someone else than family.

Docking Lessons On Your Boat
Whether you've just bought the boat of your dreams or want to build your confidence in docking your vessel.

Sailing On Sale - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings through the summer of 2010 Joyride
Charters offers a sunset sail for $55 per person (48 hr notice or sooner).  Bring a friend or bring a few!  Boat
leaves the dock promptly at 6pm.  To secure your reservation you must call or email Captain Joy, then secure
your reservation with a deposit online.   
Bad weather?  No worries, your deposit is fully refundable! (four person minimum).
Great for a special event or celebration or just to watch a unique sunset.
Sailing For Six - Grab six of your best friends or family and enjoy a late afternoon early evening sail.   
$330 for the boat (6 person maximum).  Everyone deserves a little fun and relaxation.  Come aboard and
create some memories.
To secure your reservation you must call or email Captain Joy, then secure your reservation with a
deposit online.   
Bad weather?  No worries, your deposit is fully refundable! (Weekend rates slightly higher)
